Mr. Hardwick's career in the business world has been one noted for innovation, entrepreneurial ventures, and leadership. Joining IBM in the mid-1960s, he was trained in systems analysis and consulting. During the decade of the 1970s, he was co-founder and president of a chain of over 100 retail bookstores, and became co-founder and senior vice president of a nationally known wholesale book distribution company. In the mid 1980s, Mr. Hardwick began his 25 year career in the healthcare services business as vice president of a major medical transcription provider and in the mid 1990s, became a co-founder and CEO of a medical transcription company, now nationally known for its innovation, process, and quality of product. In 2007, Mr. Hardwick retired to play golf and to enjoy his 18 grandchildren.
Ever challenged by an entrepreneurial spirit, he has answered the call to join Elico Healthcare Services (longtime business associates) to serve as President of North American Operations. Mr. Hardwick resides in Nashville with his wife Carolyn and “a few” of their grandchildren.
